The REAP cutoff is the closing rank or merit position at which a candidate is allotted a B.Tech seat at a particular engineering college through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process. REAP publishes branch-wise opening and closing ranks for every participating RTU-affiliated college after each counselling round. This page summarises how to read the REAP cutoff list, groups Rajasthan engineering colleges into three rank tiers, and places Arya College of Engineering (ACE), Jaipur within that map.
Important: exact closing ranks vary year on year based on JEE Main score distribution, total notified seats per branch, and category-wise demand. For the binding 2026 cutoff, refer to the official REAP notification published by the Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG), Government of Rajasthan, when released. For real-time admission help at ACE Jaipur, call +91-1800-102-1044 — counsellors review your JEE Main rank or category-rank and recommend the ACE branches you can realistically lock during REAP choice-filling.
Each branch at each college has an opening rank (the best rank admitted that round) and a closing rank (the last rank admitted before the seat filled). For lock-in decisions, the closing rank is what matters — it tells you the worst rank that still secured the seat.
The same college has different closing ranks for different branches. CSE and AI & Data Science consistently close at lower (better) ranks than Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical at the same campus. Comparing colleges only on their CSE cutoff (the most competitive branch) is the apples-to-apples view.
REAP publishes separate cutoffs for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and other Rajasthan-specific reservation categories. Reserved-category closing ranks are typically higher (more relaxed) than General per Government of Rajasthan rules.
REAP runs multiple counselling rounds (initial allotment, upgrade/sliding, spot). Closing ranks shift between rounds as candidates withdraw or refuse seats. Track the post-Round-1 cutoffs for the most representative numbers.
Close at the lowest (best) REAP ranks. Subsidised fees. High demand — CSE typically closes very early.
Realistic context: these colleges have a small seat intake relative to demand, so even General-category CSE closing ranks here can be sharp. Reserved categories have more accessible cutoffs.
Closing ranks in the upper-mid range. Strong placements, NAAC accreditation, established recruiter relationships.
Established NAAC-accredited private colleges in Jaipur and across Rajasthan that consistently participate in REAP — with closing ranks typically in the upper-mid range:
Tier 2 colleges typically deliver B.Tech placements at significantly more accessible REAP ranks than Tier 1 government colleges. For candidates with mid-to-upper-range JEE Main scores, this tier is the most realistic high-quality target.
Among the Tier 2 set, ACE Jaipur holds NAAC A+ (the highest accreditation grade) alongside its AICTE/RTU credentials. Recruiter relationships include Google, Amazon, Adobe, Cisco, TCS, Infosys, IBM and Capgemini, with star placements up to ₹40 LPA and a historic ₹1 crore Google Switzerland offer in the 2017–18 cycle. Roughly three-quarters of ACE’s B.Tech seats are filled through REAP each year. Branch-wise context is in the dedicated cutoff pages: CSE, Mechanical, and the choice-filling strategy.
Listing-name note for REAP applicants: in the official REAP 2026 colleges list (per reap2026.in), ACE Jaipur appears under its founding name Arya Institute of Engineering & Technology (AIET). AIET and ACE are the same institution — the college was rebranded from AIET to Arya College of Engineering after founding in 2005. When choice-filling, look for “AIET” or “Arya Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jaipur”. Do not confuse with the separately listed Arya College of Engineering & IT (ACEIT), which is a different institution at aryacollege.in.
More relaxed closing ranks. Newer or smaller institutions; placement records vary widely.
Tier 3 covers the broader set of RTU-affiliated private engineering colleges across Rajasthan whose REAP closing ranks fall at higher (more relaxed) positions. Quality varies widely; verify NAAC accreditation, AICTE approval status, placement records, and infrastructure before locking a Tier 3 choice in REAP. Where your REAP rank gives you access to both a Tier 2 NAAC-accredited college and a Tier 3 college, the comparison usually comes down to placement track record, faculty profile, and bank-loan eligibility — the four NAAC-accreditation tiers (A++, A+, A, B+) carry weight with most nationalised banks for the IBA Model Education Loan Scheme.
Published expected ranges; not official until REAP releases the binding 2026 notification.

REAP publishes branch-wise opening and closing ranks per college after each counselling round. The rank-wise list groups RTU-affiliated colleges by typical closing-rank tier: government (lowest ranks), established NAAC-accredited private (upper-mid), emerging private (higher). For the binding 2026 list, refer to the official REAP notification.
Tier 2 (established NAAC-accredited private). NAAC A+ accredited, AICTE approved, RTU affiliated. CSE at ACE closes at a lower (better) rank than ECE/Mech/Civil/Electrical at the same campus. See REAP CSE cutoff at ACE.
Tier 1: government engineering colleges (lowest closing ranks, subsidised fees). Tier 2: established NAAC-accredited private colleges including ACE Jaipur. Tier 3: newer/smaller private colleges (higher closing ranks). Within each tier, CSE closes earlier than Mech/Civil.
The official REAP cutoff is published per cycle on the REAP portal and the RTU Kota website (rtu.ac.in). For real-time ACE-specific cutoff history, call +91-1800-102-1044.
